PRITAM LAD, LALIT PRITAM LAD, MOHIT SURYAVANSHI
DISCUSSION
The use of digital tools offers dentists a new perspective when combined with the tra-
ditional mockup technique, showing a bigger success rate in relation to the final
results.
Digital imaging allows patients to visualize the expected final result, besides facili-
tating the presentation of the current condition of his oral health.
CONCLUSION
Digital Smile Design utilizes photographic information to create an aesthetic treat-
ment protocol, and then, the intraoral mock-up serves as confirmation and demon-
stration of the final porcelain veneer restorations. The combination of DSD and
mock-up for diagnosis and treatment planning has positive results in the aesthetic
rehabilitation of the anterior teeth When used in combination, these techniques offer
predictable and highly satisfactory results.
