            GRAPHY’S CUTTING-EDGE ORTHODONTIC WORKSHOP

                            UNVEILS SHAPE MEMORY ALIGNERS

In an illustrious collaboration between Libral
and Graphy, a two-day symposium was
organised at the India International Center
in New Delhi on April 6th and 7th. The focal
point of this exclusive event was the debut
           of Graphy’s groundbreaking innovation:
           Shape Memory Aligners, alongside the
unveiling of the Direct Aligner Designer
software. Led by Graphy’s esteemed experts
including Dr. Balaji, Dr. Digant Thakkar,
Mr. Louis, Dr. Rekha Bhardwaj and Dr.
Tanveer, the workshop attracted a multitude
of orthodontists eager to delve into the
           intricacies of this technology.
              Among the attendees, Dr. Gurkeerat
Singh, a prominent figure in the orthodontic
           community, lauded Graphy’s latest venture
as a pivotal advancement in the field.
He expressed, “These direct 3D printed
aligners represent a quantum leap in
           orthodontic treatment, offering unparalleled
biocompatibility and swift delivery to patients.
           The in-house preparation could potentially
           ensure cost-effective treatments for the
patients in the future as it eliminates lab costs.
The added advantage is its thickness, that is
0.5 mm which maximizes patient comfort.”
During the event, Dental Practice spoke
with Dr. Balaji Krishnan, a distinguished
           orthodontic luminary from Chennai. Dr.
Krishnan, an avid advocate for in-office aligner
           practices, emphasized on the transformative
           potential of Graphy’s innovative solution.
              Dr. Krishnan delineated the distinctive
features of Graphy’s Shape Memory Aligners,
           emphasizing their in-house manufacturing
           capability, and their eco-friendly composition.
He elucidated how these aligners, unlike
           traditional thermoformed counterparts,
possess shape memory, enabling them to
retain their properties even when subjected
to hot water—a testament to their superior
           quality and functionality.
              In addressing concerns about residual
photo initiators, Dr. Krishnan told us about
           the meticulous curing process involving
a specialized nitrogen chamber with UV
light, ensuring the elimination of harmful
chemicals for patient safety. In addition
Mr. Louis from Graphy, Korea, shared his
           enthusiasm for expanding Graphy’s footprint
in India, citing the country’s immense market
           potential. n
